Call of Duty 4 gets honors

Activision announced today that their upcoming Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat, from Infinity Ward, grabbed top honors from G4 television by being awarded as both “Best Game of E3 2007” and “Best Xbox 360 Game of E3 2007”.

Congrats to the team at I.W. This game blew me away during E3, as it did many others from what I’ve been reading. I’m thinking that this game could sell more 360 consoles this holiday than Halo 3. In fact, this is the way I would rank the top 3 games coming this fall:

1) Grand Theft Auto IV

2) Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat

3) Halo 3

Drop a comment with your top 3.

  3. 1 – Lost Odyssey – The level and character design in this game continues to blow me away.

2 – Bioshock.. yeah.. it wasn’t much of an E3 presence as the other games, but for the past year itself, its been featured many times on web pages for pc and 360 gamers alike, as well as many a BS3 fan talking about it too.

3 – Condemned 2 – wasn’t talked about that much at E3, but behind closed doors, people like CliffyB got to play it (bastard!). He talked a bit about it on his site (double bastard!)

Honorable mention goes to – Beautiful Katamari. As long as its a “budget priced” game at no more than $40, im in.

  4. I’ve been reading about Condemned 2 myself and saw a couple of screens from the game and I agree that it does look good.
