Progress on Achievements
I recently had a conversation with a good friend of mine kbl66 and he brought up a point that I thought was worth sharing.
Many of today’s games include Achievements based on accomplishing a certain number of tasks (i.e. Kill 1000 monsters with the ‘Odor of Breath’ spell) yet they neglect to include any way of viewing your own progress in reaching that goal.
Obviously the game keeps track of these stats, but should it provide a means for the player to view them? I’m going to have to side with my buddy in saying that yes it should.
Any thoughts??
Xbox LIVE to feature E3 highlights
For the second year in a row, those not fortunate enough to be able to attend E3 will have the opportunity to view some of the show’s highlights via downloadable videos on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
The folks over at Gamerscoreblog.com have listed all of the scheduled media that will be available including Microsoft’s press conference, game trailers, demos and more.
I seem to recall that the coverage from E3 2006 was very good. With the “more intimate setting” planned for this year’s E3, I would imagine that the video coming from the event should be a little calmer and more focused than last year’s.
